FAQ
Outdoor sauna questions
Can an outdoor sauna handle Malaysian rain and sun?
Every outdoor sauna cabin carries an asphalt-shingle roof and waterproof paint on all four sides.
Can the outdoor sauna be wood-fired?
Yes. Two outdoor sauna models take a wood-burning stove with a chimney; the rest use an electric sauna stove.
How big is an outdoor sauna cabin?
Catalogue sizes run from 1 × 1 m up to 3 × 2 m, and almost every outdoor sauna cabin is built to fit your plot.
Where should an outdoor sauna go in the garden?
On level ground with room to open the door and, for the wood-fired models, clear space for the chimney. Send a photo of the spot and we size the outdoor sauna to it on the free site visit.
Which outdoor sauna has a shower?
Two: the wood-fired outdoor sauna with shower, and the outdoor sauna with shower room (2 × 2 × 2 m, electric with wood-fired optional).
What timber are the outdoor sauna cabins built in?
Canadian hemlock inside as standard; the square barrel outdoor sauna and the red cedar square barrel come in Canadian red cedar. The courtyard model has a black timber facade over a warm hemlock interior.
